The fictional photo album of a working class hero. The Reichsbahn is the old German rail network. It continued to exist in East Germany, finally going under in 1993. My fascination for yellowed family photos was poured into this book.

1995, Tusche, Siebdruck

Our camera crew visited Sigrid Koch, a decorated rail worker, in her apartment in Berlin-Spindlersfeld. She let us flick through her photo album, and told us about her life as a woman working for the Deutsche Reichsbahn.
